I offer pet sitting and pet minding services in your own home as well as a dog walking service.
I can also look after your inside pet in my own home if it is suitable. I can also offer a pet taxi service if your pet needs transport to places like the vet. I am based in Ingle Farm in Adelaide’s North Eastern suburbs and can service clients within about a 30 km radius. I can collect your mail, put out / bring in bins, pick up dog poop, change the cat’s litter, light garden watering, check security of your home, open / close blinds and curtains, turn lights, tv and radio on / off as well as feeding, watering, playing, patting, cuddling and grooming of your pets and walking your dog/s while you are away. I can administer medications as directed. If you like I can SMS or email you updates about your pet/s while you are away and of course you are always welcome to ring me. I have a current national police clearance and I am trained in pet first aid.
A bored dog can get very destructive, walking is a great way to help destructive behaviours and ease boredom. It not only gives them exercise but provides them with mental stimulation, social interaction and environmental enrichment.
I know from experience that leaving your pets behind when going away can be a distressing time for both you and your pets. I can help relieve some of that stress by giving you the peace of mind that your pets are being well looked after in their own home environment. No need to feel guilty about putting your pets into a boarding facility where they will be caged / penned up and possibly be exposed to diseases and parasites. Your pet will be more than likely much happier in their own home environment. I offer a personalised and flexible service to give your pet the attention that they need. I am a true animal lover and have extensive experience in caring for animals, in particular dogs, as well as having owned a Rottweiler, a Labrador and two Cocker Spaniels and having done a considerable amount of training with them I have also been a Guide Dog Boarder with both Guide Dogs SA/NT and the Royal Society for the Blind Guide Dog Service, a Dog Trainer, Dog Walker and Canine Calmer for the Animal Welfare League of SA and also visiting aged care facilities through Caring Canine Companions with my two Cocker Spaniels providing Pet Therapy to the residents. I also have some experience with cats, birds, fish, turtles, rabbits and chickens and happy to learn about other animals.
